Is my basil trying to tell me something? While trying to nurse the poor thing back to life, I awoke to this sight. Ok, I get it…you like a lot of water.

My “Can’t live without” concealer
I must admit I am a total product junkie. Sadly, most of the time that entails buying a beauty product based on the pretty packaging, a need for the new or a total whim, and not using it. Purple eyeliner might look amazing in theory but when it comes to reality I just don’t have the guts to pull it off. There are a few key items though that are my holy grail. Mascara, concealer, and chap stick have always been my obsessions.
I think that I can finally say I can cross the canceler off my list! I found The Balm, which to be completely corny, is The Bomb! No more cake face, orange dots, blemishes popping though in mere minutes, or the dreaded dark circles of 5 am call times. I could wax on and on but I think you get the point. I now have one at home, in every handbag, and in my car.
If you’re in the market for a new concealer I would give it a try!

The Lovely Rachel’s Work of Art…
My friend Rachel came over last night and nonchalantly said she’d whip up some dinner. Along with her adorable dog LeRoy, she brought along the tiniest bag which consisted only 4 ingredients. I, being a lover of food but prone to experiments gone wrong in the kitchen, was so intrigued. Within 15 minutes she made the most delicious, beautiful flatbread creation. It was so flavorful, with tastes that stood on their own yet blended perfectly-crunchy with a little char and exploding with color. I was in such awe I just had to take a picture! The best part is that you can get all of the ingredients from Trader Joes! Yum!!!!
SF THREAD SHOW
Last weekend Gregg and Mr. Cosmo and I headed up to lovely San Fran to take part in the Thread show. Â It was a wonderful weekend; full of beaches, family, creatives and scenic drives. The show itself was quite inspiring. Dewi got to accessorize the runway show and I feel so lucky to have met such talented people! Spring is here!
Spring is finally here after actually having a “winter” season in LA! I will miss the rainy green walks and nights cuddling under a blanket, but am SO excited for sundresses and sunsets on the porch. Check out some new spring pieces! More to come as well as the emergence of more vibrant colors as we enter the summer months…
